The STARS Inaugural Stuttering Research and Education Conference, jointly sponsored by Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is proud to present this interdisciplinary conference featuring 5.5 hours of didactic presentations, a moderated expert panel discussion, and a moderated consumer panel discussion outlining unmet healthcare needs in the stuttering community. Lectures on stuttering will be delivered by psychiatrists, neurologists, and speech pathologists, along with a panel featuring individuals with lived experience.

Learning Objectives:

Describe the multifaceted symptoms of stuttering and its co-existing conditions.
Summarize comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for stuttering.
Define the neurobiological basis of stuttering,
Identify the various sub-types of stuttering.
