Canadian Stuttering Association 2025 Conference
Canadian Stuttering Association 2025 Conference
On November 8th, Gerald A. Maguire, MD, attended the Canadian Stuttering Association (CSA) 2025 Conference, where he presented on STARS, its mission, and its growing impact. While reconnecting with longtime friends and colleagues, he also announced a generous $5,000 CAD matching donation from STARS—helping CSA successfully reach its $15,000 fundraising goal! These funds will directly support next year’s conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Pictured with Dr. Maguire are Eeva Steirwalt, National Coordinator of CSA, and Tom Scharstein, Chair of the World Stuttering Network—dedicated leaders and volunteers who continue to make meaningful progress for the stuttering community.
The conference brought people together to learn about stuttering, share experiences, and build strong, supportive connections.
